King Jehoshaphat was one of the godliest kings that reigned in Judah – at least in his early years. Scripture indicates that his early success enticed him to failure later in his leadership. Certain compromises hugely impacted his family, descendants, and the general population. But his heart still sought after the Lord, prompting him to repent when prophets rebuked him. Now consider that all of us have failed at some point (or many points). So, as imperfect fathers, how can we forge forward in God’s grace to lead well – in spite of our failures?
