Many in our generation have grown up in Christian homes. Like me, a large percentage came into the kingdom, so they thought, on the coattails of their parents’ faith. A good faith, but not their own. A true faith, just not truly embraced. A hand-me-down faith, so to speak. Joash, a king of Judah, initially did what was right, but when the time came for his faith to be tested, well, let’s say, he failed – miserably! What does a true faith that’s not merely a hand-me-down look like, and how do we walk in that kind of faith that’s life-changing?
