When called to destroy Moab, Jehoshaphat, King Joram, and the king of Edom found themselves in a life-threatening situation. They were without the water that they desperately needed to go into battle. God told them to dig ditches, and He would fill them with the much-needed water. The principles gleaned from this passage have much to say concerning God’s desire for revival in our day. But how might we “dig ditches” in this generation to prepare for a much-needed revival?
