So, what exactly is it that this “thief” comes to do? Steal? And how might we prepare ourselves for His coming, or as our text says, “be dressed” and “watchful”? As a child, my recurring nightmares many times had to do with being unprepared for a significant event, like a test! How can we avoid being unprepared for this big event and suffer our greatest nightmare?
