John’s Gospel is unique. His approach to telling the story of Jesus stands in contrast to the Synoptics and gives us a different perspective of the Lord with pictures that intrigue and draw in the reader. In short it changes us. Profoundly. And in short it divides us. Radically. Because this is who Jesus is. As we venture through the first half of this Gospel account, let’s look intently at Jesus and be changed by these pictures.
