Though the books of Ezra and Nehemiah are important Old Testaments Scriptures that focus on the building of the temple and the rebuilding of the wall of Jerusalem, respectively, they hold a significant place for us under the new covenant. Each gives us pictures of Jesus and His kingdom with important principles to live by everyday.
