Not too many are aware of the battle scene at the Nativity. We gloss over the armies arrayed in conflict. We focus on the peace and goodwill, longing for this in our lives, especially our homes, without realizing that peace is ALWAYS preceded by conflict, a fight in which God MUST triumph over Satan, good over evil. What flag waves where we live is the real Christmas question.
