In John 7 John notes the responses of various groups concerning Jesus. They were divided. Some believed, some did not. Jesus’ religious antagonists, however, were not. They appeared unified in their opposition to Him. Unyielding. But Jesus reveals that one major obstacle that kept them prisoners to their unified hatred. Unfortunately, it is the same today with many held captive by culture’s powerful persuasion. What does God need to do to turn our hearts to Him?
